Features of spring binding

Spring binding of sheets

Spring binding is a convenient and economical way to keep papers of different sizes together, and A4 spring binding is ordered most often. The equipment is simple, light and mobile, and the work takes only a few minutes when the volume is small. The service has several other important advantages:

  • sheets do not get lost;
  • the block turns through 360 degrees;
  • the page you need is quick to find;
  • it is convenient to work with;
  • any cover can be inserted – designer cardboard or a transparent plastic sheet;
  • the result looks presentable.

The work is done on special equipment, a binding machine. First the sheets are punched – the holes can be round, square or rectangular, depending on the machine – and then the spring is fitted. We offer binding with a plastic or metal spring in various diameters, chosen according to the volume, and in various colours. The price is affordable in both cases.

We can also print and professionally lay out any print run or a single copy, so it is quite possible to make a photocopy or print a book and bind it in a spring cover.

Binding with a plastic spring

Binding with a plastic spring means an affordable price and a minimum turnaround time. The service is in demand because of one unique feature: if necessary the bound material can be opened up again, so that sheets can be replaced, removed or added.

Its other advantages are:

  • the most budget-friendly type of binding;
  • a maximum volume of 500 sheets;
  • a range of different colours;
  • a 180 degree opening;
  • the spring can be reused.

Binding with a metal spring

To make such a booklet you need a cover with a backing and the metal spring itself. We keep a wide range of diameters and colours, and depending on the equipment used the pitch of the holes can differ. The cover for spring binding can be very varied: designer cardboard, coated paper, plastic, a transparent plastic sheet and so on.

Unlike the previous option, binding with a metal spring is more durable. It has other advantages as well:

  • a more presentable and neat appearance;
  • a range of different colours;
  • the bound material opens through 360 degrees;
  • different covers and backings can be installed.

There is one drawback: a compressed metal spring cannot be reused, because it deforms once it has been closed.
