Binding with a plastic spring means an affordable price and a minimum turnaround time. The service is in demand because of one unique feature: if necessary the bound material can be opened up again, so that sheets can be replaced, removed or added.

Binding with a metal spring

To make such a booklet you need a cover with a backing and the metal spring itself. The cover for spring binding can be very varied: designer cardboard, coated paper, plastic, a transparent plastic sheet and so on.

Unlike the previous option, binding with a metal spring is more durable. It has other advantages as well:

There is one drawback: a compressed metal spring cannot be reused, because it deforms once it has been closed.
