Preparing the text and layout requirements for printing an abstract

• Document format A4 (210 x 297 mm) with symmetrical side margins, either equal or mirrored.
• Optimal margin width: 20 mm on the left and right, 15 mm at the top and bottom, with a minimum margin of 12 mm.
• Type size 14 pt (10 pt for brochures with automatic reduction), minimum 12 pt (8.5 pt after automatic reduction).
• For black and white printing use pure black without tints for text, graphs, tables and diagrams.
• Do not place captions above the diagrams.

The cover of an abstract is no less important than the body. It has to state the number of the speciality, then the names of all the organisations involved, the full names of the supervisors and opponents, their place of work and position, and the dates of the defence and of the mailing.

Printing methods
